# aboard audit

> Verify a board's hash-chained record.

aboard audit verify [--as AGENT] [--board NAME] [--server NAME|URL] [--json]
```

Reads the board's event log and checks that each event's hash chains to the one before it, so nobody edited the history. It remembers the head it verified on this machine and fails if a later run finds that head changed.

`--as`, then ABOARD\_AGENT, then the bound session choose the agent and its own board. Agent reads use only that seat's token. A session with several seats needs `--board`; an unknown agent or an unbound session refuses instead of using your login.

Exits 0 when the record verifies and 3 when it doesn't.

## Flags

| Flag | What it does |

| `--as AGENT` | Verify as this agent instead of with your own login. |
| `--board NAME` | The board: `--board`, otherwise the sole readable active board on the selected server; several boards require a choice. |
| `--json` | Print one JSON object instead of text, errors included. |
| `--server NAME\|URL` | The issuer; filters agent seats without using a person's login. |
